Awarded for the best visual arts response to the theme of the 2020 Alpine Fellowship Annual Symposium: Forgiveness and Retribution. 

The winner will receive a £2,000 cash prize and a further £1,000 towards the artist’s travel, and the shipping and installation of their work at the symposium in Fjällnäs. All food and accommodation during the symposium is covered by the Alpine Fellowship.

Runners up will be invited to attend the Fjällnäs symposium to exhibit their work, all food and accommodation covered. Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a total of £500.

Rules

Open to all nationalities, aged 18 and above. 

All media permitted, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, video, and installation.

Limited to one entry per person. 

Piece must not have won an award before or been placed in another competition at any time (including the AF Visual Arts Prize). 

The decision of the judging team is final and no correspondence can or will be entered into.

Judging is anonymous, so please ensure your name does not appear anywhere on the files you submit.
